Intermediate - 50/70
The Intermediate Division is typically comprised of league-age 13-year-olds who have aged out of Little League. Playing on a field that measures 50 feet from the front of the pitcher's rubber to the back of home plate and 70 feet between bases helps players transition from the smaller Little League field (46ft/60ft) to the full-sized (60ft/90ft) field used in Babe Ruth (and all the way through the Pros). Certain rules changes also occur, for example, lead-offs are allowed.
Unlike the other divisions, Intermediates has a very limited age eligibility range and we expect to field only a single team and, hence, tryouts will be held to build the team. If we have enough players and coaches, we will explore the possibility of adding a second team.
