At the heart of Novato Little League North are dozens of dedicated adult volunteers who invest their time into the physical fitness, social development and personal growth of the youth in our local community. Most important among these volunteers are the Managers & Coaches who train and lead our teams.

ABOUT BEING A MANAGER

Managers serve as their team's head coach, general manager, scout, teacher and role model
Managers must be thoughtful, organized, committed, patient and player-first
Managers are responsible for teaching players about baseball in a fun, safe, productive way
Managers help create positive lifelong skills, memories and experiences for our local youth
Most Managers have previous coaching knowledge and experience, though NLLN helps support our Managers with practice planning and other positive coaching training

ABOUT BEING A COACH

Coaches serve as assistants to their team's Manager during practices and games
Coaches play a vital role in their team's success, development and enjoyment
Coaching is a great way for new adult volunteers to learn how to teach the sport of youth baseball, run practices and coach games without the extra responsibilities of a Manager
